However, you do not like the more than $200+-per-hour that a INEOS dealership mechanic charges to read error codes and look for whatever it is that makes the odd sound when you accelerate. Some enthusiasts have gone so far as to drive their favorite INEOS only occasionally to avoid the need for even minor repairs.
We want you to go back to enjoying the car the way it was designed. With more than five decades of combined technology experience, we do not have to charge premium fees to get you back on the road. In fact, we typically bring more hands-on expertise to the table than even many dealership mechanics.

FREQUENT AXLE & DIFFERENTIAL FLUID SWAPS
Axles and differentials are essential for reliable four-wheel-drive performance in even the roughest environment. Grenadier and Quartermaster models that tow various loads rely on the technology of heavy-duty solid axles and front/rear locking differentials. Come in for a differential fluid exchange at 12,000 miles. This is not a service just any lube tech should handle.
SEVERE-DUTY ENGINE OIL CHANGES
If you only take your Grenadier or Quartermaster driving on the highway, we recommend oil changes every 12,000 miles. Of course, few INEOS models follow this driving pattern. Far more go overlanding or tow various loads. If this is you, come in every 5,000 to 6,000 miles to be safe. The goal is to keep the engine running in top condition without friction.
SUSPENSION HARDWARE & FASTNER TORQUE CHECKS
The suspension lets you drive on the highway and go off-roading at a whim. The latter is hard on suspension arms, bushings, and pivot points. When you come in for service, we inspect the suspension, mounting points, fasteners, and we pay close attention to the factory torque paint marks on the bolts.
12V BATTERY TESTING & MANAGEMENT
The Grenadier, in particular, is packed with electronic modules for a luxurious ride. The manufacturer equipped the INEOS with a heavy-duty 12V battery that can still drain quickly. You may get sudden error codes if voltage drops more than expected. We test your battery’s health, charging performance, and voltage stability, as well as connections for corrosion if you have been off-roading.
STEERING STABILIZER & BOOT INSPECTIONS
Your INEOS has a beefy steering and suspension design. Of course, this setup is only as good as the overall functionality of steering stabilizers, boots, and joints. Our technicians inspect the hardware for damage, looseness, and leaks. And, because the stabilizer sits fairly low to the ground, rock strikes can cause significant damage. We keep an eye on that, too.
WEATHERSTRIP & SAFARI WINDOW SEAL CONDITIONING
Keep water out of your vehicle by letting our team maintain the seals around doors and Safari windows. By keeping these seals well maintained, you also contribute to a quiet ride that leaves the traffic noise outside. Our technicians recommend proactive inspections and seal care to counteract (or deal with) material drying.

This depends on if you have a warning light on the dash, which is a flat fee, or if you just have a running issue, which requires manual diagnosis by our qualified technicians at our hourly rate. Some instances may require both due to the specific issue and to ensure we can accurately diagnose the root cause of your vehicles' problem.

FAULT CODE READ WITH FULL REPORT FOR ALL VEHICLE MAKES - $95
- BMW, MINI, INEOS, ROVER, JAGUAR, LEXUS AND ACURA, including diesel engines.
- Advanced factory level diagnostic scan tools that deliver the most accurate and detailed information.
- Highly experienced technicians that can identify and discern issues present on the report.

MANUAL INSPECTION - Additional cost of $95 - $225 (depending on amount of time if takes and your make/engine type)
- BMW, MINI, INEOS, JAGUAR, LEXUS AND ACURA $189/hr.
- DIESEL/ROVER $225/hr.
- Required for issues without a warning light present or issues that cannot be clearly identified directly from the fault code report.
- Minimum of a half hour up to a maximum of 1 hour at our hourly labor rate per your make/engine type.
- Any additional diagnosis time required for extensive issues will be communicated, a cost estimate provided and will require customer approval to complete.
EXAMPLE:
For a 2012 BMW 325i:
- Customer states vehicle has check engine light and rough running issue.
- This requires a diagnostic scan for the check engine light to get full fault code report. Report identifies misfire in cylinder#3.
- This requires additional manual diagnostics up to 1 hour on individual vehicle components to identify possible faulty spark plug, ignition coil or fuel injector.
- If all of those components are in working condition, we will communicate this with you and get your approval to perform more in-depth and complete diagnostic to determine the cause of the misfire.

- We run a complete diagnostic fault code scan if needed, and/or manually inspect your vehicle.
- We detail our findings in a complete digital inspection, complete with photos and videos if applicable, that you can review right from your mobile device.
- Easily communicate any questions or concerns with our service department via phone/text/email right from your personalized link.
- Your diagnostic fee will be detailed separately from your estimated repair items. You review everything on your own time and approve or decline online.
- No parts are ordered and no work begins until we receive your signed approval and half of your total payment down.
